Cathy Ferlisi and her husband Jim live in Concord, where they have raised their 3 children, Frank 23, Melyssa 21 and Josef 18, for the past 25 years.

Presently Cathy Ferlisi is:

• A long standing member of the Catholic Women’s League at St. Joseph the Worker Church,
• A member of Vaughan In Motion
• A catechism teacher at the parish for children in Public and Private schools for the past 9 years.

• The first recipient of the Civic Hero Award for Ward 4 presented by the City of Vaughan (2005)
• Recipient of Volunteer of the Year Award presented by the Government of Canada (2001)
